The Lime House has a fabulous record at the annual York Tourism Awards. In 2003 & 2005 they were the proud winners of the "Eating Place of the Year" award, the only establishment to have won this category twice! They were runners up in 2006, and will be trying hard to regain their crown in future years.
In February 2006 The Lime House was presented with a "Gold Plate Award" by Hi-life Diners at their annual Gala Dinner. The award was given for continually producing "excellent cuisine & service".
In September 2006 The Lime House gained entry into the AA Restaurant Guide for 2007.
In October 2006 The Lime House received Gold Status from toptable.co.uk, the online booking service, due to "exceptionally positive feed back" from their customers.
